Who we are

This website is run by Masjid Noorul Islam, 58–62 St Margaret’s Road, Bradford, West Yorkshire, BD7 3AE, operating under Bradford Muslim Welfare. You can contact us about anything on this page at noorul-islam-madrasah@hotmail.co.uk or on 01274 575919.

What we collect, and why

The only personal information this website collects is what you enter on the Madrassah application form: the student’s name, date of birth and address, parent/guardian and emergency contact details, previous Islamic education, preferred class time, health or additional-needs information, and going-home arrangements. We ask for it solely to process the application and, if it is accepted, to administer the student’s place. It is never shared with anyone else and never used for anything else.

Who can see it

Applications and student records can only be opened by the Madrassah admissions team using their own restricted accounts. They are never published on the website, never appear in search results, and are not visible to the people who manage prayer times or announcements. When you submit the form, a copy is emailed to the Madrassah office mailbox so the team can respond.

How long we keep it

  • Declined or unprocessed applications are deleted after 6 months.
  • If accepted, the application form is deleted 6 months after enrolment; the details are kept on the student register instead.
  • Student records are deleted 12 months after the student leaves.

These deletions happen automatically, and the same figures are shown on the application form itself.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to show you the information we hold about you or your child, to correct it, or to delete it. Contact the office using the details above and we will respond promptly.
